The research-based Parent, Family, and Community Engagement Framework for Early Childhood Systems Series includes a guide to understanding the collaborative relationship between parents and early childhood systems, programs, providers, family caregivers, and community service providers to promote positive, enduring change for children, families, and communities. Accompanying resources are designed to support implementation of the Framework in early childhood systems-building efforts. Family Engagement is Everybody's Business
Welcome to the National Center on Parent, Family and Community Engagement (NCPFCE). We are jointly administered by the Office of Head Start (OHS) and the Office of Child Care (OCC). NCPFCE supports family well-being, effective family and community engagement, and children’s school readiness. We are a consortium of partners including the Brazelton Touchpoints Center (lead), Child Care Aware of America, Inc., Center for the Study of Social Policy, and Child Trends.
State-Level Professionals and Training and Technical Assistance Providers can explore NCPFCE resources to build knowledge and strengthen practices of early childhood professionals. Our resource topics include:
